As summer draws to a close, so too does the transformative refit of this 146' Trinity.
After six months of meticulous planning, designing, and commissioning, Bonville Associates is now in the final phase of installations, preparing the yacht for delivery to her owners in mid-September.
This stage of the project marks one of the most exciting points in the refit process, as it is the moment when design vision becomes tangible. We welcomed the delivery of all of the custom furniture. Each item was designed and selected to balance comfort, durability, and style while aligning with the transitional aesthetic we set out to achieve at the start of the project. Together, the furnishings help complete the interior story of Summerdance, a yacht that respects her Trinity heritage while embracing a more contemporary sensibility suited to both family living and charter.
Our team also oversaw the installation of the custom stair railing in both the main and lower foyers. This feature is not only a structural element but also a statement of design. The clean lines and thoughtful detailing bring a new level of refinement to the spaces and create a graceful flow as guests move between decks.
Another key milestone has just begun: the installation of artwork throughout the yacht. Art plays an essential role in defining the atmosphere on board, and the curated pieces chosen for Summerdance reflect her owners’ personal taste while reinforcing the yacht’s updated character. As these installations take shape, each space gains another layer of depth and personality.
From the initial planning stages through the extensive refinishing of woodwork, cabinetry, stonework, and soft goods, this refit has been both comprehensive and deeply personal. We are proud that these owners, long-time admirers of American yacht building and Trinity in particular, have entrusted Bonville Associates with bringing their vision to life.
Now, with only the final details remaining, Summerdance is nearly ready to begin her new chapter. She will soon welcome her owners aboard for family voyages and, at times, charter guests who will experience her renewed elegance firsthand. Stay tuned for the final reveal!
