Previous clients return to reimagine this 37M Benetti with fresh vision.
The 2009, 37-meter Benetti Cristobal is about to embark on an exciting transformation, and we are honored to be leading the project. This refit carries personal significance for us. Years ago, Claudette Bonville worked with these owners on their former yacht, which was also named Cristobal. Now, with Lauren Bonville and Cindy Gunther guiding the studio, the owners have returned to reimagine this Benetti 120-Series yacht with fresh vision.
Reimagining the Main Deck
The main deck will undergo a dramatic evolution. In the main salon, we are removing the existing cabinetry and installing a new bar outboard, which offers a functional and social flow to the space. A striking new architectural feature will define the stairs leading down to the guest staterooms: a custom leather handrail with stainless steel posts and a glass panel railing.
What was once a desk area forward will be transformed into a dayhead, a change that not only modernizes the layout but also enhances convenience for guests. A new sectional, dining table and chairs, updated light fixtures, curated artwork, and translucent stonework at the bar and stair console will complete the look, ensuring a sophisticated yet inviting social hub for owners and guests.
A Fresh Approach to Comfort
The owner’s stateroom and guest suites will each be refreshed with new carpets, upholstered panels, bedding, and custom window treatments. Carefully chosen sconces, mirrors, and accent furnishings will introduce both comfort and character. Every textile, finish, and fixture has been selected to bring continuity throughout the yacht.
The skylounge will also see a remarkable transformation, balancing relaxed family living with an elevated sense of style. Updated upholstery, new club and game chairs, and curated artwork will define the space as a retreat for entertainment and connection with refined touches such as new mirrors and accent tables.
Outdoor Spaces, Reinvented
As important as the interior, Cristobal’s exterior decks are central to her charm. The aft deck, bridge deck, and sundeck will all be updated with reupholstered settees and new cushions, with elegant dining chairs to grace the bridge deck. On the sundeck, refreshed barstools and forward seating will create a chic setting for long days in the sun or starlit evenings. Even the bow, often overlooked in refits, will be given new life with custom reupholstered lounge cushions.
